A resident of Duxbury since 1977, I have played an active role in the community, including serving as president of the elementary school PTA, president of the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society, and clerk of the town appointed library Long Range Planning Committee. More recently, I was a member of the family selection committee for the South Shore Habitat for Humanity. I presently serve on the Duxbury Commission on Disability and am a member of the Community Garden Club of Duxbury.

My Professional Affiliations include membership in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, and the Plymouth and South Shore Association of REALTORS®, where I served as chair of the Bylaw Review Committee. I subsequently became a Director of the Association, then served as Treasurer and currently serve as President-Elect taking the office of President in January of 2011.

In addition to being a full-time real estate professional, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in education. A former math teacher, I have also worked in sales and marketing for a business forms and computer supplies company prior to entering the real estate field. My experience at Macdonald & Wood Sotheby's International Realty began as an assistant to the owners, where I learned the business of selling houses from the ground up.

My husband and I have four daughters who benefited from the well respected Duxbury school system. I enjoy time with my family, practicing yoga, walking along the beach and streets of our beautiful town, and listening to recorded books.
