A resident of Duxbury since 1977, I have played an active role in the community, including serving as president of the elementary school PTA, president of the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society, and clerk of the town appointed library Long Range Planning Committee. Recently, I was a member of the family selection committee for the South Shore Habitat for Humanity. I presently serve on the Duxbury Commission on Disability and am Awards Chair for the Community Garden Club of Duxbury.
 
My Professional Affiliations include membership in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, the Massachusetts Board of REALTORS®, and the Plymouth and South Shore Board of REALTORS®, where I have served as a member of the Bylaw Review Committee since 2002 and where I am currently the Chair of that committee.

In addition to being a full-time real estate professional, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in education. A former math teacher, I have also worked in sales and marketing for a business forms and computer supplies company prior to entering the real estate field. My experience at Macdonald & Wood Sotheby's International Realty began as an assistant to the owners, where I learned the business of selling houses from the ground up.

My husband and I have three grown daughters and a fourth daughter who is currently a student in the Duxbury school system. I enjoy time with my family, practicing yoga, walking along the beach and streets of our beautiful town, and listening to recorded books.
