I am a full time licensed real estate professional with over ten years experience specializing in the South Shore area. I started my career with my mother-in-law, Carol Markella, and we forged a mutual partnership until her passing away in 2005, whereupon I became sole owner of Duxbury Sails Real Estate. With the changing real estate climate, I feel the tools offered and the combined experience and expertise of Macdonald & Wood Sotheby's International Realty will compliment my extensive client base and my business style. I hold a BS in Accounting and freelanced during my girls’ preschool years. I am an avid volunteer, having served as President of the Duxbury Newcomers Club, Board member of the Duxbury Art Association, Duxbury Community Garden Club and member of the Duxbury Republican Womens Club.

Personal

I have lived on the South Shore for 35 years and have resided in Duxbury with my two high school age daughters since 1988. My knowledge of the area accompanied with my 3 years serving on the Duxbury Education Foundation Board gives me tremendous insight into the educational system in Duxbury, which is a helpful tool for families relocating to the area. Additionally I have been a walker/supporter of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and to date have proudly raised over $20,000. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, boating, tennis and golf. I especially enjoy long walks on our glorious 10 mile Duxbury Beach!
