Plymouth

Plymouth, affectionately known as “America’s Home Town”, lies 38 miles south of Boston, and is the largest and oldest town in Massachusetts. The first Pilgrim harvest in October, 1621 marks the origination of Thanksgiving. Over the generations, Plymouth’s fabled history and bustling waterfront continue to attract tourists from around the world who come to see “The Rock”, the replica of the Mayflower, Plimoth Plantation, and perhaps research their Mayflower origins. The town population has more than doubled since 1970, with Pinehills and other new developments making an impact.
