Scituate

Scituate is a suburban sea-coast community located 25 miles between Boston and Plymouth. In the 376 years since its incorporation it has evolved from a summer colony to a residential community, retaining much of its flavor of the past. Scituate has a large fishing industry and the town pier accommodates a working fishing fleet. The town boasts a nice harbor with restaurants and shops. Scituate has a strong sense of its history and commemorates its founding in August each year with a celebration known as “Heritage Days”
